from PATTAYA TRADER 113 (B)

A GIRL OUT CHECK
The checkout girl,
how beautiful is she,
I want her body
close to me.

The queue shortens
and she nears
while the ring of the till
is music to my ears.

The checkout girl
leaves me in no doubt.
I check her over
but she checks me out.

A-WAR-SERVICE-WOMAN-WAS-VAL
Happy memories of a sad war
lying low with the spiv upon her rug.
How she longs for lights out
and the charge of the doodlebug.

WATERLOO WARRIOR
It has been a bloody battle.
Big guns have gone-off for you.
I'm a mere foot-soldier
but you are my Waterloo.

RIMBAUD'S-RAINBOW
All the bright colours of joy.
All the dull colours of pain.
The free-wheeling poet-boy
in the sunshine, now in the rain.
