A SO BLUE BED
The minstrelsy
of heart-strings and tongue
gives way to
the jester's fun,
then to a very royal blue
when, my lady, I lie with you.

TURNING-TIME
Where the willows weep
by a lake so deep
the kingfishers dart.
From the water leap out -
to catch flies - the trout.
When it grows dark
it's the moths that wing
to twilight's twittering
from birds in the trees.
The sun having set,
the moon will reflect
in the lake, night's owl sees.

DIZZIED-BY-THE-BRIGHT-DANDY
The peacock spreads his fan.
Catches the eye of the peahen.
Ah what a dandy is he,
and light as her damn-feathers she.

SHIPS-THAT-PASS-IN-THE-NIGHTTIME
I can't settle for anchorage.
I'm like the dark night in passage
and you are that other ship.
We sail upon a sea of change.
We will pass again, within range
for my lips, girl, to meet your lips.

ACTIVE RADIO
It is now all image.
The manufactured attractive.
Overheated by music video
and not the radioactive?

CORRECTION: The water is less deep down here, not less deeper, in FISHER KING verse.

BLUE'S-GOT-A-NEW-GUITAR
"Guitar-hero? Who? Who? Who?"
The guy that first built the guitar, Blue !

LORD-I-TO-LADY-MINE
I'll be your sword,
I'll be your shield.
I'll champion you
on life's battlefield.

I'll be your lord,
I'll be your knight.
I'll guard you, my lady,
and the dragons smite.

ALBERT-PARK'S-FISHER-KING
Outstretched are his wings, look,
like the arms of a scarecrow.
The cormorant perches on a rock.
Fish aplenty in the pond below.

Ducks and swans about him steer.
He's a long way from the sea.
The water is less deeper here,
stacked with fishes, and fisher he.
