She drinks from the cup of love.
There is ice in the wine.
What should've warmed her heart
chills instead her mind.
Find sometimes a relationship
can be such a crushing-bind.
LOCK AND CHAIN
Like a tired Houdini,
he was to break their wedlock
when she, his wife, chained him
to workloads around the clock !
If you don't understand metaphor,
nor understand an allegory,
and are not aware of innuendo
or the power of mythology,
then you won't care for my poems.
You're like a thicket. That is simile !
Where are her clever clogs?
Where are her smarty pants?
Bare-legged and barefooted
her wit falls foul of biting ants !
