for PATTAYA TRADER 260 (A)

THE-TURN-OF-TIDE-VERSE
In the hope of success
she took the name of a man.
The tide turned high from low
for she, George Sand.

COWGIRLS AND BOY-BULLS
Many a cowgirl danced
in The Highway Star,
a country-and-western
Thailand beer bar.
They had hats on heads
and boots on feet
on the City-of-Pattaya's
Walking Street.
Country-and-western
is not this boy's tune
but the cowgirls drove
bulls over the moon.

THE-MIGHTY-STAGE-MAGICIAN'S-HAT
A mighty top-hat,
upturned on the ground,
the kids fetched a ladder,
climbed up and fell down,
down down down
inside the great top-hat,
fell fell fell
onto a leafy-mat.
All around was magic,
no rabbit to be found,
but they felt like Alice
in the girl's underground.
"Wake up, wake up, wake up,
time to rise from bed,"
shouted their magician dad
who'd an almighty head !
