She had her beady eye on me.
An eye that was green with jealousy.
A jealousy that had no grounds.
A jealousy which knew no bounds.
Like Big-Sister watching me,
not Nineteen-Eighty-Four, but Ninety-Three,
no drug I am sure could make
an eye so beady and as wide awake !
