The girl ran away.
A mischievous monkey she
stole into a zoo
and set a real one free.
Yes stole into a zoo
and freed a chimpanzee.
They ran off together,
the girl and the escapee.
Were sought high and low,
under bushes and up trees.
Why'd she run away ?
Why free the chimpanzee ?
Nobody can get to hear,
nobody can get to see.
