Not the Blessed Bran
but Bran the Green Man,
sea-god and sea-fairy's son.
Bran of the wild wood,
of green nature be it understood,
he of wild vegetation.
Bran of the green isle,
Bran giant-god-man wild,
whose name had meant Raven.
Green king with club in hand
defends no more the woodland.
Earth becomes concrete ridden.
