The cherry-blonde
I picked, I plucked
as from a tree,
but was not struck
that after so hot a bake
this cherry topped the cake !
SOUL-SELLERS?
Not everyone can write a book,
but many have a story to tell,
be it about their own lives or another's,
not that it could to the listener sell.
Too many a tale told is a lie.
I used to trust, now don't always buy.
