for PATTAYA TRADER 168 (B)

A-BIG-CITY'S-CAT-GIRLS
She's one of the big cats.
One of the many whites and blacks.
Up and down the street she makes tracks.
One of the girls in leopardskin-slacks.
It's just hard-work, sweat and heat,
here in London's jungle of concrete.

THE-HAPPY-PAIR
A good-meal a day,
that's what I said.
A loving-girl too,
and a sturdy bed !
Top it off with
a roof over our heads.

BEGGING BOWLS
Beggars here, beggars there,
beggars, beggars, everywhere.
Were I a giver to all I meet
I'd be beggared, out in the street !

THE-FOLK-OFTEN-LACKING-FIND
One often wants,
the other often needs.
One is often greedy,
the other often lacks greed.

THE-SING-SONG-SEA-IN-CHAINS
What is high-tide here
is low-tide elsewhere.
What is low-tide here
is high-tide across there.
And so the sea is cyclic
but also chained to time.
Chained like we to changes
just as Dylan Thomas in his rhyme.

THE DEMONICALLY-
DIVINE-DIVISIONS
"There's only one God"
find the divides say,
and for this Divine
the other divides go slay
to gain good-Heaven
the bad boys way.

OTHERWORLDLY
Find no such thing as nothing,
contradictory as this seems.
Where you spy empty spaces
I spy airy future dreams.
