HARD-HEARTED ANGEL
The homeless beggar
who'll also steal.
The upfront street-girl,
but down at heel.
The Angel of the North
with a heart of steel.
DANCING UNTIL
THE VERY LIGHT OF DAWN
A budding ballerina
dances in her bedroom.
Dances in the darkness
to the Swan Lake tune.
Dances in the darkness
only the stars turned on.
The dawn light show
she not a black swan.
FADED NOT HER NAUGHTY
MUSICAL MOVES
The opening act was a stripper
before came on the band.
Wild were the wolf-whistles.
The boys gave a big hand.
Time now for the music,
heart and souls bare laid.
Mine with the stripper
whose G-string didn't fade !
