POET-SCREWED-BY-OWN-POLITICS
Wyston Hugh Auden,
poetry the communist's trade.
Come the Stalin and Hitler pact,
he wrote of 'a low, dishonest decade'.
And he buggered off to America
this man of York City born.
War had left England tattered,
and politics had left Auden torn.
BOWWOW-TINY-BENITO !
A communist then a fascist,
it's back to Italy I hark,
and to Benito, sure a bonehead,
a little dog with a big bark !
