The pale nuns pass in silent halls
while elsewhere within four walls
painted ladies in pretty frilly-smalls
blue the air with their cathouse calls.
The noise and the quiet, the peace and the riot.
The hidden body and the exposed to all.
Yours bared to me, lady, in the soundless night.
